AFLS
response to the RAE Review
Details of the 2008 post-graduate bursary are now available. The AFLS invites applications for a bursary of £2,000 to an outstanding candidate, registered for a PhD, who already has well under way a programme of doctoral research in French Language Studies. The bursary is intended to help ensure successful completion.
Membership
of AFLS entitles members to seek informal advice on research matters via
the Chair of the Research Committee (at present, vera.regan@ucd.ie), who
will forward queries to colleagues qualified to deal with them.
Alternatively, members may contact directly the author of the appropriate
section of the AFLS Research Guide, available on the web site. (But
please note that thia arrangement must not in any way encroach on the
responsibility of a member's own supervisor or research mentor.)
